Environment is a big issue for everyone especially with its impact on our lives. There is global warming and global pollution which are threatening our very existence.  

The environmental consciousness promoted the Virginia State department to create a few grants for promoting the awareness about environment.  

Virginia department of environment quality Virginia office of Environmental Office is accepting the applications for the environment grants.  

The department of conservation and recreation and Virginia Environmental Endowment is providing teachers with small amounts of money to promote the environment education. The grants are in the range of $500 – $1000 for taking students out to outdoor locations where you can make the students environment conscious aware. These are also known as classroom grants.  

Virginia Environmental Endowment has a mini grant program which promotes a few things which are:  

Environmental education

Water Quality Protection

Some grants and matching funds 

The Virginia grants environment in this case is for about one year and up to the amount of $5000.

I must say these grants for small business are not really applicable to businesses but rather they are for schools but Virginia has some programs which have the grants which they match if you have funding available from other sources.
